El Paso Zoo & Botanical Gardens Winter Camps
This holiday season, the El Paso Zoo is offering winter camps. Join us for all sorts of festive, fun, and educational activities. Your child will experience up close and personal animal encounters as well as wildlife-themed art projects. A new camp theme will be featured every day.
Ginger’s Christmas Camp
December 21st and 22nd (two half-day camps)
Times: 12 PM - 4 PM
Ginger, our Juliana Mini Pig, is excited for the holidays. Come to Ginger’s Christmas Camp and join in on all kinds of holiday activities such as decorating pig-themed cookies and pig-themed ornaments. Participants will also experience a close encounter with Ginger herself just in time for the holidays.
All about Animals
December 30th (full-day camp)
Times: 9 AM - 4 PM
We share our planet with millions of animal friends. Join us for All about Animals and learn what makes animals different from one another.
Eat or be eaten – Predator vs. Prey
December 31st (full-day camp)
Times: 9 AM - 4 PM
While humans use forks and spoons to eat their food, animals use special abilities to eat and avoid being eaten themselves. Learn all about how animals survive in the wild at the Eat or be Eaten Camp.
Zoo Keeper for a Day
January 2nd (full-day camp)
Times: 9 AM - 4 PM
At our zoo, we not only have a diverse range of animals but also dedicated staff who ensures everything runs smoothly. Discover the various career opportunities available at the El Paso Zoo during our Zoo Keeper for a Day camp.
Wildlife Warriors
January 3rd (full-day camp)
Times: 9 AM - 4 PM
The El Paso Zoo plays an important role in protecting endangered species. Join us for Wildlife Warriors and learn about the efforts the zoo takes to protect animals while also learning how you can save animals at home.
Cost & Registration
$40 per day per camper

Please submit one form per child aged 5 - 10 years.
Capacity is 24 kids per camp/per day.
Registration fee includes all supplies, daily snacks, and lunch (for full day classes)
El Paso Zoo accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). Full payment is required to secure registration.
No refunds, returns, or cancellations. The zoo does reserve the right to cancel camp for weather or animal reasons. If the zoo cancels, full refunds will be issued.
