Teachers can call the Zoo to reserve booklets for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade Students

The El Paso Zoo recently reprinted a special full color booklet designed to engage elementary children with conservation information about the animals at the Zoo. Passport to the El Paso Zoo is a cooperative project between the Zoo and the El Paso Zoological Society with major funding by the Wolslager Foundation. Each booklet contains a series of questions about Zoo animals that young people can find the answers to while walking through the Zoo. Upon completion and signing a Junior Volunteer pledge, the answers can submitted to the Zoological Society Office where participants can pick up a free Zoo bumper sticker. Booklets are available free to El Paso elementary school teachers while supplies last. For more information call 915-351-5340 or 521-1850 or e-mail elpasozoo@elpasotexas.gov or elpasozoosociety@aol.com. For more information on the Zoo, visit http://www.elpasozoo.org.
