Cisco Predicts World Cup Winner
July 10, 2014

Community Is Invited To Share In World Cup Fun

WHAT:  The El Paso Zoo’s Mexican Burro, Cisco, will predict this year’s World Cup winner. A soccer enthusiast, Cisco will cast his vote by selecting the    team’s soccer ball set out for him in his exhibit by keepers. Will he choose Germany or Argentina?

This fun activity will serve as one of his enrichment activities for the day. Animal enrichment is provided to animals to provide mental and physical        stimulation in their daily lives. Cisco enjoys kicking around soccer balls   and this will provide him a fun and unique experience that our Zoo   visitors will also enjoy.

“This is Cisco’s first time predicting the winner of a game but we think it will be fun since he loves playing soccer,” said Kenny Riley, Senior Keeper. “Visitors don’t always get to watch him play because he’s shy but we’re hoping his enthusiasm for soccer will help him overcome his bashfulness.”
