The El Paso Zoo has several attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

The Foster Tree House Playground includes five tree houses blended into a natural setting for an imagination-filled, “free-play”. The tallest of the tree houses rises up to 16 feet off the ground. The playground provides kids of all ages a 360 degree view of the surrounding area, four slides, a crazy tunnel, log climbers and cargo netting. This playground is unique, and nothing like it can be found anywhere else in the southwest.
The 36-foot Hunt Family Endangered Species Carousel features thirty hand-painted animals representing endangered species from around the world. It also features a spinning birds nest ride and an Americans with Disabilities compliance swan chariot.

During the warm weather months (the zoo is open year-round because it’s warm almost all year round here), the Hunt Family Desert Spring offers a splashin' good time! This interactive water play area features dancing water, gushers, spray tunnels, tower sprays, pop-ups, and more. These different water patterns emitted by the spring are fun to watch and great for families to splash around in, relax and cool down.

Funded by the 2012 Quality of Life bond funds, the state-of-the-art Wildlife Amphitheater is a place for Zoo guests to engage and learn in a whole new way through animal encounters, educational programs, concerts, and much more!
The Copper Canyon Challenge Ropes Course will allow guests to climb three stories into the air and get a hawk’s eye view of the Chihuahuan Desert and the entire zoo.
